Sport
There are around 100 sports clubs and providers in Hartlepool, supporting thousands of players and their wider families each and every day.

We are constantly championing the amazing clubs in the town, and we offer a range of free support to clubs and groups.

Club Network
We work with a lot of local clubs and groups, but we also love to see clubs working with other clubs.
Our Club Network events are great opportunities to meet like minded local group leaders, learning first hand about upcoming and ongoing projects and make new contacts across the town.

Doorstep Sport
We are working with a range of local partners to deliver a sustainable Doorstep Sport project across Hartlepool.

In a nutshell, this is:
-
Sport and physical activity delivered in an enjoyable way to the communities we serve.
-
Based within local areas, easy accessible, no transport barriers.
-
Delivered by people who understand the community, have local connections and can build trusting relationships
-
Strong emphasis on young peoples development, can lead to volunteering opportunities for members.
-
Is sustainable- has a long term plan with finance. Not short term interventions which young people enjoy for only a limited time. ‘

We are interested in working with local clubs and providers, statutory and VCSE organisations and local businesses to develop this project further.
Club Development & CPD
Club development is a broad subject and every club or group is different, so the support we offer is individually tailored accordingly.

Often it's just asking questions, and linking to resources, but it can also be more in-depth such as reviewing policies and procedures, club goals and governance.

We also work with many local and national partners to offer a range of training and development opportunities for clubs and groups to access.

Courses include:
-
First Aid
-
Safeguarding
-
Wellbeing & Mental Health
-
Goal Setting
-
Coach Development
-

Communication
This website will feature a lot of information on current projects, opportunities for funding etc...

We are also going to produce a quarterly newsletter with key updates for clubs and groups to keep up to date with.
